Trial, licence and editions
What you bought, what it keeps doing, and what changes when the year is up.
What you bought, what it keeps doing, and what changes when the year is up.
The one thing worth knowing before you read any of it: on Lite and Basic, billing never stops. A lapsed year stops updates and support. It does not stop you raising an invoice, and your data never locks — export keeps working in every state.
The trial is 14 days from when the software was first installed. During it, everything works. After it ends, the software stops accepting new entries until a licence is imported — it never deletes anything, and you can still view, print and export everything you entered.
Settings → Registration lets you import the .lic file you were sent — usually by email or WhatsApp from your dealer. Once imported, it is checked against this computer and your company name; if either has changed since you last registered, tell your dealer and they can issue a fresh one.
Billing never stops. A Basic licence is a one-time purchase and works forever; only the 12 months of software updates, GST-rate updates and support calls are on a renewal clock. If that lapses you can still raise invoices, print, export and back up — you simply stop receiving updates and support until you renew.
Lite is a sale billing book — items, parties and a GST sale bill, with your logo, signature and payment QR. Basic adds the rest of the day book: purchase entry and stock, sale challans, quotations, credit and debit notes, receipts and payments, stock-takes, the GST return workings and the bill designer. Silver adds real accounting (trial balance, P&L, balance sheet), up to ten companies, a second counter on your own network and purchase-bill scanning. Gold is Silver with more companies and extra counters. Ask your dealer for the current price list — this box does not know today’s price.
It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription — pay once, use it forever, with 12 months of updates and support included. Exact prices are set by your dealer, since they can vary by edition and by region; this chat does not have today’s price list. Ask the dealer you are speaking to, or the number on the invoice/dashboard.
Yes, on Silver and above, over your own shop’s network — one computer holds the books, and up to the number of extra users on your licence connect to it from other machines. Settings → Extra counters (only shown once you have that capability) is where you pair a second machine to the main one.
Press Alt + A in Aned Book and ask in your own words. It runs on your own computer with no internet and no account — these pages are that same help, published so it can be found before you install anything.
