The books are a reading of the bills you already raised — not a second set of entries somebody has to keep in step with the first.
Accounting is part of Silver (₹14,000 + GST). Lite and Basic are billing and inventory; they do not include the ledgers described here.
Every sale, purchase, receipt and payment posts to the ledger by itself. There is no journal to write up at the end of the week and no reconciliation between "the billing software" and "the accounts" — because there is one set of records and the accounts are a view of it.
Closing stock is valued from what you actually paid, oldest first, rather than from a rate typed on the item master. Where a quantity has no purchase behind it the software says so rather than quietly valuing it at a guess.
Point Silver at a supplier's PDF or a photo of the bill and it reads the lines onto a purchase entry for you to check. It runs on your own computer — no key, no account and no upload of your supplier's prices to anybody.
The software prepares and presents; deciding what is right and filing it is your accountant's work. We would rather be useful to them than pretend to replace them.
Silver, at ₹14,000 + GST. Lite and Basic cover billing and inventory.
No. Bills, purchases, receipts and payments post themselves. Journals exist for the adjustments that genuinely need one.
FIFO, from your own purchase bills — oldest cost first — rather than from a rate typed on the item.
Silver renews yearly at ₹3,500 + tax. If you would rather not renew at all, Basic is perpetual and never stops billing — and you can move to it at any time.
Described in the software's own words, so this page cannot promise something the install does not do.
Keep quantity on hand and low-stock alerts.
