Aned Book is GST billing, inventory and — on the upper editions — accounting, for Indian shops. Two things about it make it easy to sell, and both are the shop's words rather than ours:

• It is bought once. Lite and Basic never renew, and billing never stops whether or not anybody ever pays again. A counter that has stopped billing because of a lapsed renewal is a conversation you will not have to have.
• It works with the internet switched off. The books sit on the shop's own machine, encrypted. Nothing to explain about servers, uptime or data going somewhere.

It reshapes itself for fourteen trades — batches and expiry for a chemist, HUID and making charges for a jeweller, tables for a restaurant, consignment notes for a transporter — so one product covers most of a market rather than one slice of it. The whole thing runs in English and Hindi. The prices are public, and so are the renewal and upgrade rules; nothing about this product is negotiated in the dark.

What are the margins?

That is settled on a call, against your area and what you already sell. A rate card on a public page would be a number we would be held to before knowing anything about your business.

Do I need to buy stock or pay to join?

No. There is nothing to buy up front and no joining fee.

Do you give exclusive territory?

Is the software available in Hindi?

Yes — the software and this whole website are in English and Hindi. Other Indian languages are not done yet.
