A tax invoice that is right the first time — the split worked out from where the customer is, the HSN summary printed with it, and the return built from the same bills.
Whether a bill carries CGST and SGST or a single IGST line depends on where the supply goes. Aned Book reads that from the customer's state and applies it — so an intra-state sale splits in half and an inter-state sale does not, without anybody choosing on a busy counter.
Each component is rounded to paise on its own line before the lines are totalled, so the figures on the paper add up exactly and the round-off line reconciles. You can watch the same arithmetic work on our free GST calculator — it runs this software's own engine.
The printed bill carries what the rules ask for: your GSTIN, the place of supply, the supply type, HSN or SAC per line, a rate-wise tax summary, the amount in words in Indian numbering, and your declaration and signature block. It prints on A4 or A5, portrait or landscape, and on a thermal roll.
Because the bills are the source, the returns are a reading of them rather than a second data entry: tax liability, GSTR-1 B2B and B2C, GSTR-2, GSTR-3B, an HSN summary and a 2B reconciliation. Export what you need and file it.
A customer's GSTIN is validated for its pattern, its state code, the PAN inside it and the official mod-36 check digit — the last of which is what actually catches a typo. A wrong GSTIN puts an invoice in the wrong table of GSTR-1 and can cost your customer their input credit. There is a free GST number checker on this site running the same check.
₹4,500 + GST for Lite, which is sale billing; ₹9,000 + GST for Basic, which adds purchases, stock, batches and the GST returns. Bought once. Billing never stops on either of them, with or without a renewal.
Yes, from the customer's state against your own. You do not pick.
It builds GSTR-1 B2B and B2C, the HSN summary, GSTR-3B figures and a 2B reconciliation from your own bills, and exports them. The filing itself is done on the GST portal.
