Everything below is the software's own help text. The same answers are inside the program under Help — press Alt + A — and they work with no internet.
No — the trade is fixed for the life of that company, because it decides which fields and features (batches, expiry, weight-based pricing, table billing) are already built into your bills, stock and reports. Switching it would leave old records in a shape the new trade cannot read. If you genuinely picked the wrong trade, the honest fix is a new company with the right one — Settings → All companies → + Add company.
Settings → All companies → "+ Add company". Lite and Basic keep one set of books each; Silver and above allow several, up to the count on your licence. Each company keeps completely separate books, parties and items.
You don’t need to do anything to "close" a year — each financial year is kept as its own set of books automatically, and a new one opens itself the first time you bill into it. Settings → Financial year lets you switch which year you are looking at or working in.
I answer questions about USING KhataGST — where a screen is, how a feature works, what a setting does. I run entirely on this computer with no internet and no account behind me, so I only know what was written into this list; I cannot see or answer from YOUR invoices, parties or figures, and I cannot fix a bug or process a payment. For anything about your own data, the report screens are the honest answer. For anything I get wrong or don’t cover, contact support.
Your dealer is usually the fastest route, since they know your licence and your setup. For a locked-out PIN there is also a phone support code — see Settings → Registration. This chat cannot open a support ticket itself; it can only tell you what it already knows.
