The questions our WhatsApp actually gets, answered here so you do not have to ask. If yours is not here, message us — a person replies.
WhatsApp is the fastest way — no forms and no ticket number. Message us, or write to info@anedya.net. Tell us your licence number if you have one; it is on the top bar of the software and in Settings → Registration.
A licence is issued against one machine, so a new machine needs it reissued. Send us your new registration code — it is on the registration screen — and we will reissue it. There is no charge for moving to a replacement computer.
That usually keeps working: the licence is not tied to a single component. If it does stop recognising the machine, send the registration code and we will reissue.
On Lite and Basic, no. Never. Billing carries on for ever. What stops is updates, GST rate and HSN table updates, and support.
On Silver and Gold, yes — 29 days after the date, with two warning stages first. Nothing is deleted, and there are two ways back: renew, or move to a perpetual Basic, which never stops billing again. See the licence terms.
Ask. We would rather extend a trial than have you buy something you are unsure about.
It is missing because it is no longer a slab. The rates the software offers are the ones in force: 0%, 0.25%, 3%, 5%, 18% and 40%.
That is decided by the place of supply against your own state, not by where you are sitting. Check the customer's state on their master, and the state code inside their GSTIN. Our free GST calculator shows the same rule at work.
Each tax component is rounded to paise on its own line before the lines are added, so the printed figures add up exactly. The round-off line is the difference between that total and the nearest rupee — it is meant to be there.
The check includes the official check digit, which catches a single mistyped character. Paste it into our GST number checker — if that refuses it too, the number itself is wrong somewhere.
No, and neither can anybody else offering it honestly — there is no public API that returns a registered name. Look it up on the GST portal.
A backup is taken automatically when you close the software, and only when something changed. Point it at a pen drive or a second disk as well — Settings → Backup — and a dead machine costs you nothing. Your books live on your own computer, encrypted on disk.
Two things make a reply much faster: your licence number, and a photo of the screen showing what happened. Most questions are answered in one message with those.
